~~Deus Ex:IW Crashes~~

Hey guys, just a few questions. I just installed v1.2 patch in my game and it has started to crash more often. DOes this mean that the patch files corrupted the game files. I havent Uninstalled/reinstalled the game yet, didnt want to lose my saves. The game plays fine until I come to the Upper Seattle level is when it starts to crash...but the game always did crash abit much. Could this be the game or just the new patch ?


My pc specs are listed in my sig ( the first one listed)...should I also provide a Everest log?

You should be able to backup your saved games folder, then completely uninstall and reinstall it.

Don't apply the patch straight away, then if it works fine for a while, apply it and see how you go.

Thx for your help Insom! Reinstalling helped out alot, but I had to chunk all the info from Program files and Doc and Sett areas manually. I reinstalled the patch v1.2 and the crashes began again, so now Im running v1.0 and the game is running better and I only experienced one crash which fixed itself.
