Does anyone know of a device manager replacement? Something like what Process Explorer is to the Task Manager.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for here; but I have found the following free Microsoft utility to be very useful alternative to using the device manager. As a is a command-line utility; it can be a little tricky to get used to; however it gives a bit more information than the standard Microsoft Windows device manager:

"The DevCon utility is a command-line Microsoft utility that acts as an alternative to Device Manager. Using DevCon, you can enable, disable, restart, update, remove, and query individual devices or groups of devices. DevCon also provides information that is relevant to the driver developer and is not available in Device Manager."

To find it in the web, Google the exact terms:
The DevCon command-line utility functions as an alternative to Device Manager (and then choose the very first search result).

    Good Luck!
