DFI Motherboard Help

I have the DFI K8M800-MLVF

but I'm having trouble with it. I turned it on with the new mobo for the first time and its giving me problems.

first it tests the memory and everything seems fine. But after it does that it says:

scanning devices please wait
press <TAB> key to enter User Window!
Serial_CH0 Master: No Device
Serial_CH1 Master: No Device

And then when I press tab it takes me to the RAID bios:

VIA Tech VT 8237 SATA RAID Bios Ver 2.40

Notice: THe number of disks is not adequate to create a RAID.

now I'm guessing its trying to create a raid. BUT I DON'T WANT TO CREATE A RAID!!! I only have 1 HDD! someone pleaase help

I dont know anything about your MOBO but I'm thinking two things,
In bios your set to SATA Raid, change to SATA.
The other might be you need to connect your SATA drive to a different port on your MOBO, check out your MOBO manual for details.

Also make sure your boot order includes SATA.
You might also enter bios & Load optimized defaults.

If that dont work, someone else might throw in 2cents.
