diablo 2 will not load

hey guys, i just put diablo II on my computer, when i go to load it, it opens, gets to the opening screen then minimizes and when i go to bring it back it does the same thing. anyone know how i can fix this?

cancel that. i restarted my computer and it works. so thanks guys, but never mind.

ok scrath that last post. when i go to open the game it keeps minimizing. is this a video card problem or what?

try using whatever video settings the 'video test' gives you(start>programs>diablo2>video test) ... reinstalling may fix that problem also .. ive never heard of that happening (never happened to me) ... also make sure you have the latest patch for it (1.10 last time i checked)

edit: i noticed you tried reinstalling it ... it might be an issue with your display driver

 

any way to change the driver? i need to check with dell and make sure my driver is up to date, though i'm sure it is, this maching is a little over 1 year old.

and yes i downloaded the patch when it came out. it does it automatically.
