Diablo II frames /second

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me increase my frames per second that I am currently receiving from Diablo II LOD v1.11

At the moment I only get 25fps, which I have read is the standard amount... I've noticed that when I am using FRAPS, the frames per second that I get increases to 83 when I pause the game ( where the 'save and exit' button is ) .
But, as soon as I am playing, goes back to the 25fps.

My video card is an XFX 7800 GS 256MB , so I dont see the problem here.
Do i need a certain program to 'open' up some source code or something?

Strange... its too low
maybe you are using only de cpu for the graphics. Download latest drivers and be sure to check whether your game is using your video card. If it is, try changing the option close the game, and then try again putting the option again

There is a problem as of late that I encountered after a two year hiatus from the game. I have around 70 fps but the game shutters and it's not my system. The Server seems to be a little unstable your PC is probably fine but the server isn't maintained like it used to be, I believe this is something you will have to get used to as blizzard has largely ignored D2 LOD for WoW developement now.
