dialers

Don't know if this is the right forum, but there seems to be an increase in/new build of dialers out there... I can't post in eagles2880 thread for some reason, but was going to ask him this, and suggest it to anyone else.

Do you have firewall? I got a dialer last night, and immediately my firewall came up and asked if I wanted to let it connect to the internet. I told it no, and came here for help.

I was able to erase it pretty easily, and it didn't have a million add-on's to contend with, I guess from it being contained on my computer, just these three lines, not the million in eagles post. (thankfully)

Also, what do dialers do? What is their purpose, other than to screw things up for people?
