Did I do something wrong?

I posted a thread asking if anyone has used ING Direct before and what their opinions of the service were and I come back 45mins later and the thread is gone? I don't believe I did anything wrong, and if I did, I apologize, but yeah, what happened?

Right after I posted that, I did notice a spammer posting inappropriate adults links in a thread entitled "Christmas" and I reported it. Were the forums just rolled back and that could possibly explain my thread's disappearance?

Don't know what happened to your post but I have nothing but praise for ING, being using it for about six years with no problems. Little questions that I had have always been answered quickly and courteously

 

I'm sure there's someone here who could answer youir question, but it doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. Just repost your question.

People "asking about banks" is usually a cue for spam. I think perhaps your thread got caught in the crossfire. Sorry !

 

Alright right, no harm done. I figured my post was taken down when the spammers started posting.

Thanks for your opinion on ING BCGrey. I did some more research and I've heard nothing but great things. I think I'm going to open account today.

 

Thanks for the advice. I'm seen several companies offer from 3% to 5% with ING being right in the middle with 4.50%. I've decided to go with ING and let me say, their security is impeccable! To log into my current bank account all I need is my user name and pw. ING far surpasses that! I'm glad someone takes security seriously. :-D

I have no idea! What is going on here? Yesterday I start a new thread asking legitimate questions about online banking and that thread disappears. Today I post a reply in this thread, and go out of my way to report two spam threads I saw in the lounge using that (!) button thing and no more than five minutes later, my account is gone?!

Would a moderator/administrator please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

 

Can't really tell yea duzytata2, but maybe if you PM Halo, he can look into it tomorrow, as he is not "on" now. Keep hanging in there, you appear to be getting kinda a rough WELCOME, but there is probable a good reason for the confusion and Halo will sort it.............PS glad you got on the ING train, I think you will be happy with there results, they have some real interesting investment options, and like you said in your post they really do take security seriously
