did i do this right?

Hi

I have recently attempted to clean out my parents old computer (their email and word processing machine) which has probably not received any sort of maintenance in the last 3-4 years. It was loaded with spyware and viruses, etc.

I've done what i think is required.

I deleted as as many unused files i understood
Removed unused programs

I ran the following:
CCleaner - scan
AVG anti virus
AVG anti spyware
ran chkdsk and chkdsk /f and chkdsk /r --- might have been some bad sectors/files... im not sure if they were fixed... this is beyond me
Lavasoft SE personal
Spybot S+D
CCleaner - clean the registry and startup
CCleaner scan again

then turned off the computer
turned it back on

Ran HijackThis - i have attached the log, this is also way beyond me.

So two questions

1) Does the hijackthis log suggest that i have fixed the problems

2) Do i need anti spyware and anti virus in the startup? its an old comp and would like to save memory.

ok ive done more of what is recommended on this site

installed COMODO BOClean, COMODO firewall, Spywareblaster

AVG antivirus, firewall, and BOClean running at startup

I ran HiJackThis again and ive attached the log (i seriously dont know how to read this... as far as i i can its only the KODAK lines that shouldnt really be there).

Can someone tell me if there is something obviously wrong with it?
