EDIT the last I heard was that a computer as powerful as 10,000 neurons would be as large as a football field

I don't want to make this thread all about computers but I'v just done some checking and its seems in 2007 they have done a simulation of half a mouse brain using IBM's bluegene computer so my 10 000 neurons was way behind anyway.
