Now I'm curious. Swearing on the Bible in court means, if you lie then you pay the piper upon death, if you so believe. Just what happened to those poor liars of old???

Well I guess if you are a man of faith then swearing on the Bible is meaningful. In Roman times, however, EVERY man believed in his testicles!
