Difference In The User Folders In Our Two Computers

I have two Windows 10 computers: My computer and Her computer. I try to keep them as close to possible as I can (except for our data files, of course). My computer is an HP510, her's is an Acer TC-780. Both run on the same version of Windows 10.

My computer's email operates with my email account, and her computer's email operates with a different email account (don't know if that makes any difference). Also, I have partitioned my hard drive into C: and D:. I did not partition her computer.

The C:\Users folder in my computer has an Administrator, Default, Default.migrated, DefaultAppPool, ME, and a Public folder.

Her computer has a Default, keepDefaultuser0, Public, and Ruth folder. The contents of her Default and keepDefaultuser0 appear to be identical.

    Two questions:

    1. Why doesn't her computer have an Administrator folder in its User folder?

    2. Can I safely delete the folder "keepDefaultuser0" from her computer?

The first user account Windows creates always has admin privileges. Did you downgrade your account to 'standard user'? Or turned on the 'hidden' admin account at some point - which will then have its own user folder?

In Ruth's case, I suspect Windows created her user folder with the usual admin privileges... and she has simply continued using her computer with admin privileges. Highly recommend that Ruth downgrade her everyday account to 'standard'.

I think Ruth can safely remove "keepDefaultuser0" - but doesn't hurt to (1) create a system restore point and (2) duplicate that folder to somewhere safe before deleting original.

Thank you for your reply. I'll give that a try.
