hey, I had a pretty nasty virus on my computer about a month ago, zlob, virtumonde, all that stuff. I paid symantec and they remote connected and cleaned up everything and removed the virus completely. So, today I was just cleaning up my computer, deleting history, cookies, internet history, disk cleanup, and I also did a spybot search and destroy fix. I had some spyware I guess and I fixed/removed them with spybot. After that I restarted and started getting errors that some dlls could not be found, obviously because they were removed via spybot. Anyways I narrowed the errors down and now I am only getting that dipakule.dll is not found. I think this is spyware/virus related. I actually dled the vundofix from symantec and ran it, and it actually found some files and fixed it, but the dipakule.dll error still pops up. Another interesting thing is that I went to msconfig and saw that dipakule is a startup item with the command rundll32.exe "C:\windows\system32\dipakule.dll", s . So i unchecked it so it would not startup and clicked apply, but it somehow rechecks itself. Same with registry entries, when I delete them, they just recreate themselves, and I am guessing it is the nature of the spyware/virus. So any info about how to pinpoint the source or remove this would be great. Thanks.

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
