Hi all, I tried to re-install Roxio easy Cd creator 5 however it keeps installing only the basic at about 21 Mb, I'm sure the one I had installed previously from the same CD was well over a 100 Mb, anyway I have had no luck at all with it as a program as it could not find my drives, I did download thee patches from Roxios website to no avail, so I uninstalled it only to find that I must have inadvertently installed direct cd as well, I can find no links to direct at all except in the bottom right hand side tray, that only gives me the option to eject my cd, I cannot find it anywhere to uninstall it, can someone help please, I run windows XP, thanks.

you may well need to install EZCD again to allow uninstallation of DirectCD sadly.

    Re: Direct CD & NVidia

Hi Halo, did that and it worked fine, however I get a message when I log on saying that drivers have not been installed for CD-RW as this will cause a fatal error or words to that effect, also I've noticed in NVidia that when I press on the tab where you can troubleshoot it, it comes up blank with an error message window, and a white window to one side with a green button on it, pressing the green button only makes the window dissapear and the green button appears on the NVidia window instead, unfortunately at the moment I cannot be more specific as I'm at work many miles from home.

Hi Halo, did that and it worked fine, however I get a message when I log on saying that devices or applications are disabled, CD recording software will cause windows to become unstable, windows prevented drivers from installing, Also when I go to Nview desktop: display settings: advanced: and press on GE Force 2 MX/MX400 a window appears with NVCPL at the top left hand side of it and a message stating catastrophic failure, it also has a white cross on a red background, I press OK and a blank GEForce window appears with a white window to the left of it with a small green button and arrow + a pinboard pin, I press the button and the white window dissapears then the green button re-appears on the blank GE Force window, the reverse happens when I press it again, I run windows Pro XP.

damm weird that Nvidia drivers would get funky after an uninstall of Roxio... but never the less re-install your Nvidia drivers.
