Direct X 9.0 a/b question

Hey all, as I mentioned in one of my other posts in the hardware thread, I just got a new BFG Aylum GF FX 5600 Ultra. On the driver disk that came with the board are 4 demos demonstrating the GeForce card. It have Dawn and the Dancing Ogre for the FX demos and the Squid and Wearwolf for comparison to Geforce 4 Titanium (Ti) technology. I can run the GF4 demos but when I try to start either The dawn or ogre demos, windows gives me an application error and states that the program needs to close. Before I got the card I upgraded to the 45.23 detonator fx drivers and thought that it might be the cause, so I reinstalled the 44.03 drivers to test. No good. Is this a DirectX problem, should I download and reinstall or maybe something in the BIOS I need to fix, HELP! Tanx
