direct x compatibility error

    i have windows xp sp2 and i tried to install a game when it came to dx 9.0c it said 'The software you are installing has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibilty with windows xp'. please help.

    It shouldn't stop you there, does it? Just continue on from that message if not and it should install just fine. If I remember correctly I've seen that message every single time I've installed directx on xp.

    You might want to install xp sp3 while you're at it.
