Hi geeks, I am trying to cool the CPU and here are the my temparatures

    Sensor Properties:
Sensor Type SMSC EMC6D103 (SMBus 2Eh)
    GPU Sensor Type Driver (NV-DRV)
    Motherboard Name Intel D915GAG / D915GAV / D915GEV / D915PBL / D925XBC / D925XCV / D925XEBC2 / D925XECV2

    Temperatures:
    Motherboard 43 °C (109 °F)
    CPU 59 °C (138 °F)
    Aux 46 °C (115 °F)
    GPU 56 °C (133 °F)
    Seagate ST3802110A 38 °C (100 °F)

    Cooling Fans:
    CPU 1284 RPM

    Voltage Values:
    CPU Core 1.34 V
    +1.5 V 1.47 V
    +3.3 V 3.33 V
    +5 V 5.05 V
    +12 V 11.88 V

    Debug Info T 3D 2D 2E 81
    Debug Info V 71 72 C1 C2 BB

Could you please tell me what is the optimal temperature of the CPU and IS there any way I can cool the CPU down....I have two fans 12Volts one [ written on the cover of the fan ] I dunno how and where to place them...Please suggest me ways to cool down my CPU.

I have approximately drawn a diagram of my CPU and additional fan placements......

I want to know which way shud I face my fans to the CPU..is it letting the air INTO the CPU or letting the air OUT of it....or any other way....Please tell... me

    which options shud I try....

    1. facing the fans such that it LETS THE AIR INTO THE CPU

    2. facing the fans such that it LETS THE AIR OUT OF THE CPU

3.one fan directing the air inside and other outside....or viceversa...:major:confused...confused..please help

The one at the back of the case (labelled as 'inbuilt fan') should be exhausting air from the computer.

Are you sure there is nowhere to place an intake fan at the front of the case (right down the bottom) ?

Since hot air rises, intake fans are placed near the bottom of the case and exhaust fans near the top.

So if you have 2 spots for case fans on the side cover and you wish to use both; place an intake fan on the lower opening and an exhaust fan at the higher one.

Ambient (room) temperature plays a major part in what your system temps are as well.

If the "Fan 1" mount on the case side is right over the CPU's heatsink, you might also try mounting the fan as an intake and see what happens. It would give you the advantage of ambient air going into your heatsink instead of air that has already been warmed somewhat by your GPU.

Let us know the results from both options so we can learn something.

i have a similar setup for fans . both my side panels blow IN for cpu and video cooling , rear fan blows out and my front fan blows out. my cpu idles at 33-35 full load 100% for 72 hours was 48-49c board idles at 31c hard drives stay in the 30's also in a rosewill budget case . video card idles at 42 with fan on side 49c without. big difference :)
