    Hey guys,

I'm still working on that damn computer lol!!! Anyways while trying to run Project64 1.6 emulator it always hangs on:

    Intializing OpenGL Device Context

When I look in the DirectX settings (see attachment) I noticed that some of the .dlls were the debug versions!! I tried to install directx 9 from Microsoft but I still get the same error!

I don't know if there is an way to uninstall DirectX if that will help!!

Again, thanks for the help guys!!

    Edit:

I don't know if this will help but the version of XP I'm using came from here:

I looked through your attached DxDiag.txt file. Drive E (Seagate Backup+) only has 13.5% free space left. You need to get some files off of that drive to bring the free space up to AT LEAST 25% or you could lose everything on that drive.

Nope still the same thing man as now it says even more .dll's files are out of date!! As for the Seagate Drive that's the external one so I can fix it easily!!

Did you install the update I linked to?
Your log shows DirectX Version: DirectX 8.0 (4.08.0000.0000).
    SP2 & SP3 for Windows XP includes DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904).

    Here's DirectX help.

Yep I installed the update, also I checked out the link you gave me with the DirectX help and I decided to do the Errors with ddraw.dll link:

    http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001520.htm

After that when I went back to DxDiag it said some files were missing, since I deleted them as they were versions 5.1.000. Even when I installed the DirectX updated you linked me to it still said files are missing!!

Attached is my updated DxDiag report!!

    Great!
FWIW A repair is better than a re-install because you'll keep your Windows Settings, Programs and Personal Files.
A few programs will have to be re-installed (I had 2) and the Windows Updates will have to be re-downloaded.
