Does anyone know how to disable automatic sign in for Windows Messenger?

I looked it up in the option but couldn't find anything that disables automatic sign-in.

Also, when siging in to messenger, there's bunch of user id's that are saved in the list.. is there any way to get rid of them?

I tried to delete those user ID but I couldn't find a way to do so.

    Thanks a bunch~

    Thanks for replying back.

I actually meant by signing -in as in signing into the messenger, not that the messenger comes up when you start the computer.

I need to deselect "sign me in automatically" but it just doesn't come up anymore.

You need to goto Options > General and untick " Allow Automatic Sign in When Connected to the Internet"

I've checked the General tab and I don't see that option "Allow Automatic Sign in When Connected to the Internet"

maybe it's not the same version.
    I'm using 4.7

    Thanks

I'd upgrade to 5.0 and uninstall 4.7. It may not seem possible to uninstall it as Microsuck went to great legths to keep you from uninstalling it. Major Attitude provided this info on how to uninstall MSN Messenger 4.7 :

Go to start, run, and type the following or just copy and paste:
    RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
You'll see a breif deletion, and that's it. Reboot your machine.

After you've done that, I'd download MSN Messenger 5.0 which gives you the option to not automatically log on. Evidently you've instructed 4.7 to remember your password at some point or another, and I'm not sure how you can undo that. But the solution provided above would work! ;)

You could do that, or you could use one of the myriad of IM clients that access MSN (and AIM, and Yahoo) such as:
    Gaim (I use this one)
    AYTTM
    Trillian
