Disable autorun failed

    I followed the post - disabling autoruns by chaslang and received the following report "Cannot import C:\.....Not all data was successfully written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or other processes."
    Hope this is in the correct forum, but as I have an ongoing post here already and it's kind of related, thought what the hell.

    Not sure why you are having that problem. You could try importing the AutoRunDisable.reg patch file in safe boot mode and see what happens. Also make sure you have created to file properly. You cannot have any spaces above the REGEDIT4 line.

    Tried it again and same response, so tried with admin account and it worked ok, thanks for the help.
