Disabling The New (news And Interests) On Task Bar

    Here is the location in the registry.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Feeds

    Right-click the Feeds key, select the New submenu, and choose the DWORD (32-bit) Value option.

    Name the new key ShellFeedsTaskbarViewMode and press Enter (if applicable). Set the Value from 0 to 2 then restart your system.

    Good to know.
    At the moment it can be removed from the taskbar by right clicking the new icon & untick ‘News & Interests’.
