Hey,

this prog looked good...followed the instructions in the help file...until I got to the select a file to save to...how do you save your image file to a file? I see nothing in image maker to make a file (except of course to make your image, which you cant make until you have a file there with the image .ext) so I was wondering wtf is going on here? This will take another day now to prep my system for this so its another day lost...pls lemme know what freaking file I have to save to and where I get it from.

Dont know what the program is. I use Acronis True Image. You can find it in our backup section.

Just downloaded and used this app, albiet I like MA use Acronis True Image, what you need to do is select your HD or Partition to image and click "make image" > click "select file" button > locate where you wish to save the image file too and type a name for the file into the file name box and click open then the app will start to image the drive.

From the help file

(WARNING: This file should not be located on the same partition that is being imaged!)
