    Hi!
I`ve googled for this problem with every possible combinations of this
    boot up message:

    Minimizing Paging File Fragments...
    Folder consolidation skipped...
Some argument was unrecognized or conflicting, boot-time not running...

    :cry

I`ve set the paging file on C: to 0, and D: to 6000MB, (3x my 2GB of RAM),
to try to solve the problem, but with no luck.
Both C: and D: is on the same RAID 0. D: is empty.
I also have some other disks installed that are almost full.

I`m happy with any solution that gets rid of the message at bootup...

    Please help!

    Hi,

If you are NOT setting the Diskeeper bootime defrag to run, try this link for information on how to clear up the startup messages. http://www.diskeeperblog.com/archives/2007/04/program_not_fou.html#more

The bootime defragmenter no longer defragments directories (folders) offline as this can be done during the normal "online" defragmentation.

If you are having other technical problems, Diskeeper's Technical Support can help. They are available by email.

It looks like your problem is that you have the paging file set to different min and max sizes. Set your paging file to 20-20MB and reboot, then run checkdisc CHKDSK /F. To see if you have damaged sectors, if you do then it's time for a new HD. Next re-create the paging file and be sure to set min=max size. It will never fragment again. Why MS sets these different Who Knows? But its not very effective way to manage it

I'd like to help you with your issue, as I use Diskeeper Pro, but I'm a little confused with your post. confused

What did you do to get the error? Are you trying a boot-time defragmentation?

And you're using a RAID 0 with a paging file on both drives. I believe if you want to clear the paging file you have to do it on both drives, it it's on both drives by setting them to 0 and rebooting.

I'm not sure but could the RAID 0 be causing your problem? confused:eek:

If you're using Diskeeper Pro, you can use it to set your paging file.
