Diskeeper software question

    Hi ... I am a first timer here , I'm curious about a software of the name Diskeeper , Has anyone heard of this software ? Thanks

    Hi and welcome, yes I have used and know of Diskeeper software from Diskeeper Corp ( aka Executive Software ), which is used to defragment your harddrive, it in full version works much better than the in-built defragmentation software used in windows operating systems, even tho the windows inbuilt defrag is a very lite version of Diskeeper.

    Lite version ( slightly better than the inbuilt Win defrag )

    Hi ... Thanks for the welcome ... Reason as to why I was asking is because I did purchase this software , My problem is I can't get any support from their website , I have send so many emails that I gave up , I even ask now for a refund and I still haven't recieved not a single word from them ... My problem started when I fill out the purchase with my CC , When I went to confirm I got a link to download their product , which I did but It ask for a serial number which I don't have , It might of been on that last confirm webpage which I didn't save or copy that bit of info , My thoughts was they would send me a email with all the data that I need , like a reciept just like everyone else does when purchasing online , You know you always get some sore a email from the seller , I didn't recieve anything from them and this is why I was emailing them but , I gotten no support at all , This suck :mad:

    Just in case their emails are getting dumpted in your spam box or deleted check those areas, I've had a few like that were over aggressive spam software has deleted legit emails.

    Only other advice I can give is that, you will have proof of purchase on you CC statment, so see if your CC company can help... I know mine would in instances where I had not got either the product or a refund.

    Halo thanks for the info and you are correct about the spam filter was blocking the emails , I finally got a hold of them and I been told that I will be recieving a refund ... Thanks

    Good news glad all is sorted out....

    One good Defrag app that I always use is O&O defrag, thats if your in the market for a new defrag app, you could test it out, they have an older freeware version doesnt have the bells and whistles of the full Pro version but worth a look http://www.majorgeeks.com/O&O_Defrag_2000_Freeware_Edition_d4545.html
