I reinstalled the Windiws XP Home with SP2 and RealPlayer Plus. Previously everything worked fine. Now when I try to play videos with RealPlayer or Windows Media Player I get very dark, saturated displays. (NVIDIA GeForce Ti 4200 with AGP8X - AMD Athlon 64 3500+). I can cure that by disabling hardware acceleration but then programs such as Google Earth won't run at all. What happened?

Maybe in the new home install, windows replaced old drivers?

I would check that i had the latest drivers installed.....

    Regards!

Checked that, the latest were installed (9.1.4.7 - 8/11/06). However, just to be sure, I re-installed. Same result.

It appears that changing the color profile to ColorMatchRGB solved the problem. But I don't know what the optimum profile should be.

Well, as I stated in the previous post, changing the color profile helped temporarily. Now back to the same situation. Displays Google Earth and games fine, but when I try to play videos the display is very dark and colors are very saturated. Any other suggestions?
