Dj in trouble

Hi guys, i have a problem, my mate lives far away from me and has a gig dj-ing in indonesia of all places in under a week. hes been purchasing tracks from websites such as audiojelly, play and beatport. When he trys to download the tracks that he's payed for the open in a barebones sort of windows media player window, the one with just the grey bar at bottom and black background and windows logo. When i download my own tracks from the same websites i get asked for the save location no probs. so to recap, tracks simply play instead of downloading to hard drive. hes running xp on a laptop and has tried mozilla and ie. thanks adam pearce
