DLL probs...

I searched the forums but cant find specifics,PLEASE HELP!!!

Ok I run windows 98 SE and stupidly tried to install RPLite5 (or windows revolutions) to make it look like XP. It messed my whole system up. I reinstalled My windows 98 SE disc and everything seemed fine but now I am getting the following -COMDLG32.DLL file is linked to missing export SHELL32.DLL
-MSTask.dll Error 31
-powrprof.dll
-devmgr 32.dll
-mmsys.cpi
and finally a device attached to the system is not functioning.

I cannot run any fix programs as they need these files i dont know what to do.
And in case ya havent figured it out......I am a TOTAL NEWB.

you need to reinstall your WIN98

 

What is SFC? Sounds interesting.

 

I already reinstalled win98 se, i dont have regular 98 disk as it was on the comp already.SFC didnt work....got the same errorCOMDLG32.DLL file is linked to missing export SHELL32.DLL a device attached to the system is not functioning.

ummmmmm unless it is apart of the se disk no I dont have office to install.

also I have downloaded all these dll files but still get the errors

 

well i did another complete un/reinstall and so far so good....however any suggestions for dowloads in general would be greatly appreciated.

Quick Question(sorry to be a pain) is there a specific place i should save things like service pack etc..

 

Never used it. I assume just save it to your desktop and when you run the program it will install in the correct location.
