I am bleary-eyed trying to fix this crazy computer. I am running winxp and IE. I sell stuff on ebay and within the last week I am now getting "This page cannot be displayed" error when I attempt to go to two different pages within ebay.

I've done everything I can think of; cookies, cache, firewall, lowering settings, flushdns, renew dns, etc.

I downloaded netscape and still have the same problem. A friend was able to access my account from her computer and didn't have any problems, so it seems to be my computer and not the ebay website.

Last but not least- I am a major novice when it comes to computers so I may need simple directions!

    Thank you, thank you

if you have an xp install disk, boot with it, all the way to where the c: drive is listed.

run a repair from that page. you won't lose any data.
