Do I really need to contact Mozilla on this??

After attempting an uninstall/reinstall of a Firefox browser (which was clearly NOT "clean" or "complete") due to an "alert" (pop-up) every time I accessed the internet that stated; 'software updates failed' or 'could not update due to permissions restrictions' etc. (something to that effect - even though I was handling it through the admin. account on the PC), I now get an even more annoying: "Alert - !onLookupfailed 55 1" - can anyone please tell me if there is a relatively "simple" fix for this?

This lil' devil pops-up every time a page is accessed/changed/refreshed.

    Thanks in advance,
