Do You LOVE metal?

Well So Do I. I personally CANNOT STAND RAP OR COUNTRY >_> Metal for my is my lifeblood and It just makes everything in life for me bearable. So If you love metal and Your interested in checking out new up and coming bands I suggest going to myspace and looking up Deibler, they are AWESOME, I can see em getting pretty big if they get support GO METAL!!! >_>

 

Metal is okay, it makes up about half of my music library. The other half is techno/trance

I just got into CC *cannibal corpse* and picked up my first copy of their second album (i think its second) butchered at birth, its so unbelievable hard for me to find them in stores cause they are so extremely brutal. I could order online but i dont have a credit card.

I still love old school metal and rock, and some alternative but its mostly metal that I love.

 

If Black Sabbath and Judas Priest still qualify as Metal, then yes.
(Man, they keep changing the names of genres so often that it's hard for an old guy to keep up.)
(I remember when there was just Rock, Country Rock, and Hard Rock)

Yes. I <3 all kinds of metal, weather its normal, heavy, speed, hair, alternate, death or industrial. I listen to a lot of hard to classic/soft rock a lot of the time too, usually from the 80’s. I don't like much of the mainstream stuff I hear lately… I don’t think I can develop a taste for that quasi-goth/ emo stuff. But there are still a lot of good stuff out there.
Recently I’ve been listening too the same few bands repeatedly… Ministry, Coheed & Cambria, and Mötley Crüe (it’s a fun combination)

 

I've been loving LoG (Lamb of God), In Extremo, Manowar, Rammstein, Cradle of Filth.....

Just like some metal bands I listen to (I.E., unable to understand what they are saying), In Extremo, tops it off, since it is in german (like Rammstein, except all in german).

XD Rammstein freaken rocks! Same with LoG, I used to listen to LoG when I worked at Sonic (ah it made working with my jerk of a manager so much easier)

I like almost all kinds of metal - in fact, heavy music is 100% of what I listen daily.

The band suggested in the first thread is pretty crappy for me though. It is never metal - some run-of-the-mill metalcore with thrash influence. Sounds pretty whimpy and modern...:cry

 

I have went through phases of the hair bands to Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Death, Incubus, Pantera, Korn, megadeth, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, man....you name it I have probably loved it at some point as long it is was loud and strong and fast. Now I still listen to that stuff sometimes but am more towards the newer stuff like Godsmack, Staind, etc. not really metal but it works. Oh yeah, still listen to Korn almost daily.

 

eh, i havent seen alot of metal listed here, with the exception of the older stuff.

im into the likes of The Acacia Strain, jobforacowboy, sky eats airplane, Meshugga, The Faceless, Between the Buried and Me, Beneath the Massacre, Necrophagist, etc etc.
