Do you really want to send that meal back?

"Food for thought" the next time you don't get what you ordered in a restaurant.

If juvenile humour doesn't appeal to you, please, please, please, don't watch today's Funny Friday video (and remember, email subscribers you'll need to click the post title to head to the blog to view the video).

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Well, not in a restaurant anyway. I'll certainly be thinking about it every time I make it myself too.

It has been my policy if it isn't right, get a refund. I will never send anything back, no matter how exclusive the restaurant. (Chefs drink)

And they have access to some really big knives and cleavers.
Some even take offense at it.(imagine that.)

Yep, My mother was chased out of a restaurant in San Francisco by an Asian cook with a cleaver asking for more gravy for the customer.

Man, I'm sure glad I don't like French Toast!! However, I'd like to see him do that with mashed potatoes:-D

Well, since he's so crude to begin with, let's make it with boiling HOT gravy. I bet that'll make his voice go up a couple of octaves:-D

Sadistic and appropriate. I like it.

Yes, she was a waitress for like 40 years, as was my aunt, my grandparents owned restaurants. There are countless stories, that one came to mind being hrlow2 used the word cleaver.

I would have had that cook arrested

I think the only labor law back then (40's or 50's) were people working on the industry had to check out healthy and carry a card proving it.
Likely went into affect because of Typhoid Mary (not the comic) who kept working around food infecting people but didn't get sick herself, was a merely carrier.

Well in that case, I would have just gotten my own cleaver

I wouldn't, no but she wasn't the kind of woman that shrank away from anything.

Well, I'm a guy that don't usually back up either.;). But a crazed chef wielding a cleaver would definately make me stop and think.:confused (Only for a second), then run.:-D:-D

    Well I would. Again with my own cleaver;

What's with this violence, using cleavers and things? That's too darn bloody. My personal preference, providing the HOT gravy doesn't work, is a .44 AutoMag with hollow points filled with cyanide and rat poison! See, no more hacking and dicing...just one simple pull of a trigger;)

(note to self, quit watching all those 'Dirty Harry' movies:-D)
