It's been a while since I've been to this board, but have recently developed a very annoying problem with my work computer, that the IT department either can't figure out, or doesn't care.

I am running Windows 10 Pro, Version 1703
Every day, I have 6 File Explorer windows open, each going to a different folders on the network. For each of these, I would right click, and select "Pin To Quick Access", so that the next day, the folders were in the list.
About a month, to 6 weeks, ago, I came in and the Quick Access panel was empty.
I fumbled around, and found the first folder, and when I right clicked, I was given an error message saying "The docfile has been corrupted"
I did a google search, and found a fix for the problem. All went a long great, but everyday this week, the quick access panel has been empty again.
I noticed, today, that after I again did the fix and got my file explorer windows open, that when I would use any program on the computer, I would click "open", and the folder list, on the left side of the open panel, was empty of any folders.
I would do the fix again, and the folders are listed in the open were restored.
What could be the problem that is causing the docfile to continually become corrupted, if that is indeed the problem?
Thank you so much for your help and suggestions.

You need to open a Command Prompt (ADMIN) and type this and hit enter:

    del %appdata%\microsoft\windows\recent\automaticdestinations\*

That is what I have been doing.
It has worked up until this week, and now I have to use that every morning.
I noticed today, that even after I used it the first time, I still have no folders listed when I try to open a folder using any programs open command.

I suggest you run the following scans on that work computer via a Command Prompt (ADMIN) - if that is allowed:
    System File Checker (sfc /scannow):
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4026529/windows-using-system-file-checker-in-windows-10
When the scan is 100% complete if you want to see a simple TEXT file of the results copy and paste the exact below into that command prompt window then press ENTER - the file will appear on your desktop:
    findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt

    Check Disk:

It doesn't allow me to do this.
I'll check with the IT guy and see if he will do it for me.
Thank you so much for your help.

He should be able to do it very simply.
    Good luck.

Sorry this has taken this long to write back.
I got the IT guy to run the scan, and it showed no integrity violations.
I copied and pasted the string you have, and got an error saying it couldn't open the cbs.log file
Disk check came back with no errors.
But, I am still having the same problems......The quick access is empty as soon as I add folders back to it.
I do appreciate you help with this.
