Does A2 remove the trojan.startpage?

My server at work got infected with the trojan.startpage. I have Symantec Antivirus corporate edition 9 installed, and it catches and quarantines it. But I still get a message saying that it keeps detecting and quarantining it. I was wondering if A2 will remove the trojan.startpage from my server?

Never used it, I would recommend trying TrendMicro's Online Virus Scan

 

I did run the Symantec online virus scan and it did not find anything regarding to trojan.startpage on the C:\.

Anything else?

 

Do you have the EXACT name of the infection as there are several of these type infections.

Trojan.StartPage

C:\Docs&Settings\Administrator.xxxx\local Settings\Temp C:\WINNT\system32\CTFMON32.EXE

 

First, I would suggest following all the steps listed in this sticky thread as you seem to have more problems then just this startpage trojan.

If you follow every step in here and still have this problem then procede.

Make sure you have HijackThis 1.99.1 and follow the guidelines on where to install it and how to post a log as an ATTACHMENT.
