Track a phone

I was running away from the neighborhood bullies, on halloween and these losers decided to egg the Sh8t out of me and hit me with a paintball gun, So now i cannot find my Verizon phone, it was a nice one, I dont want to tell my padre because he will kill me, any solutuons!?

That's the best thing to try. A lot of the newer phones are trackable by the phone companies, unless they're turned completely off.

 

Yup... Usually if you call the company and tell them your phone is lost/stolen they can provide you with a list of numbers... Or you can wait until the bill comes and dial some numbers to see who called who....

Then you're probably out of luck unless you can retrace your steps & find it yourself.

If the FBI aren't allowed to do it, you will not get any one from MGs to do it, and I doubt even Verizon unless a life depended on it ( as per their comment about 911 invovlement). You are better off switching off your PC and re-tracing your steps at GT suggests

get a buddy to backtrace wit you

Otherwise...If you don't have loss/broken insurance with the cell phone provider...you are "crap" out of luck!!!! As far as actually getting the phone back!!! And you are wrong as far as the replacement you get!! They replace the EXACT model you had...I know from experience!!!

Even if there is a way to hack a phone to do what you are trying to do...If it is legal...the cell company will help you!! If they won't help you do what you are supposedly trying to do...then odds are it is illegal...and you won't get any help from her as far as trying to condone an illegal activity!!!!

And legally that is correct. Think about it. Anyone could call and ask them to trace the whereabouts of your phone otherwise. They have to put some security measure in place to remove the possibility of fraud, or everyone would be up in arms over privacy and human rights.

 

keyan, there is no independent amateur "hack" to find your phone. Phones are located by triangulation between cellphone towers, which must be done by the phone company. Even the FBI just has the cell companies run location for them. Their policy, for some very good reasons, does not allow for non-emergency location, so either you go out and find it yourself, or write it off as a loss. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

 

if you lose your cell phone the bset thing to do is to lock it by calling the company and asking them to lock it so that no one can call anywhere without entering a password. THen when you get the phone back you can unlock it with the password. also, if you have gps enabled on your phone u can track it within a half mile.

STOP bugging people because it is NOT possible to track a phone without the GPS system. We dont have any tricks were hiding. If we had tricks we certainly would not hide them.

 

One other way, use a buddy’s phone, do as GT, but, call your phone hoping you can hear it ringing….keep calling, might just find it, and o take some friends to help

I'm going to be the voice of reason. Tell your Dad if you can't find it on your own. He will find out. He'll try to call you and you won't be able to answer or even know. It's best you tell him now while the two of you have a chance of finding it rather than letting him find out later after the phone is long gone. Then you will be wishing he would just kill you.

Calling your phone is a good idea, though. Take another cell phone and retrace your steps while repeatedly calling your phone. Unless the battery died or the ringer was silenced, you should hear it.

 

Tch, all you need to do is get a cell testing rig and drive around with it till you spot the IEMI of your phone turn up. Then you get another 2 cell test rigs and move them around and use the signal strength to triangulate the position

Note: the above post was just a silly comment. You can't get cell test rigs, and if you did using one would be highly illegal as you'd probably kill everyone's service in the surrounding area when it is turned on.

He's long gone, Halo. He wanted a quick, easy answer NOW! This was all posted last night, so I only posted my answer knowing he's gone. He's probably getting a spanking right now as we speak! Hee Hee.

 

All Verizon phones are GPS capable. Verizon was correct, the only way they can triangulate where it is, is if 911 is called from it.

As for insurance, they give you the SAME phone you had.

 

Next time don't be such a b$tch. Stand up for yourself! Kick their asses and take their phones!

Forget the cell phone, you need to save your money to pay off those bullies so they'll stop beating your ass. Better yet, pay me and I'll take care of them.
