Does anyone have 'Restoration' data recovery IF YES...

I downloaded this data recovery program (Restoration) and recovered the files I needed. The problem is that when I go to open a document is will not open. It gives me an error saying the path is invalid. I d/l it to a flash drive. Very few documents open but most of them do not.

Is there a better program (FREEWARE) than this or can someone help me - it does not come with a help file.

 

so, you copied/recovered your data, from one source, and you saved it to a thumbdrive (flash drive), and you are trying to open it (from your flash drive), and it won't (because of that error)? have you tried to copy the documents, from there to your h/d of your comp? - sos

 

yeah, I first tried to open from the flash, then copied to hd, same problem. It says it's an invalid path so I recreated the folder I had and subfolder but it still would not work.
