Hi, my brother was born in 1985 and them later my mother split up with my dad (I was with my mother). I know his initials and the place where they had gone at a later stage. I also know that he is dead; I need to get information about such databases that can help me to get information of my brother’s birth and death dates.

Contact your state's vital records office, or the sate in which he died.

Also, possibly the American Genealogical Society. If they can't help, they can definitely point you in the right direction.
