Does anyone know anything more about Ted's Cave thing from the front page? -NT

I am also curious about other people's reaction to this site. I sat there at midnight one night and read every page expecting it to be a joke or prank site. By the time I finished it and reached the last entry I had hair raised on the back of my neck. I am usual suspicious of these kind of things, but I am thinking something like this is extremely possible. I only wish there was more info or a 'closure' to this story.

 

Yeah, exactly what Mike said. It creeped me the hell out and farce or not I want to know which. I was wondering if anyone knew if I just got my first dose of internet "reality" shows or if that dude is schizophrenic or if or if or if. What the hell was that?

 

Read the entire story, and damn it freaked me out!!

Worst of all, dont know if this was just me or if everyone else finds the same, the last page that loads says he is going back to the cave to search for the end, and that he will post again on his return. Click the link for the next page, and I get a 404age not found error.

Did he write a last page?
Did he not return?
Is it a hoax designed to leave the reader with unanswered questions?

Either way, fact or fiction, a damn good read.

 

Sounds of Hell

This was posted on Art Bell a few years back. Here is what the story was associated with it:

Geologists working somewhere in remote Siberia had drilled a hole some 14.4 kilometers deep (about 9 miles) when the drill bit suddenly began to rotate wildly. A Mr. Azzacov (identified as the project's manager) was quoted as saying they decided that the center of the earth was hollow.
Supposedly, the geologists measured temperatures of over 2,000 degrees in the deep hole. They lowered super sensitive microphones to the bottom of the well, and to their astonishment they heard the sounds of thousands, perhaps millions, of suffering souls screaming.

i read the cave story too. it just ends. kinda odd. betcha its a hoax.

Thanks Ace...I was wondering whether or not I wasted 2 hours reading the journal, and it appears that I did. Oh well, at least I should have known something was flakey. Good work, Ace!!

 

Sad they couldn't even come up with their own hoax story. Had to cheat off someone with a little creativity. Sad.

 

well, i read it all too. its actually a short story. a very well written one at that. they changed the ending and made it a caving version of blair witch project.

i just searched around on google to see what i could find and found the original short story.
