You mean the extremely poor taste, complete lack of humour, or the fact this guy is paid to draw the strip ??? Or all three ??

You hve to remember this is America. Bad taste is in style here - Fear Factor, with people eating worms on national TV, reality TV in general, antisocial behavior in commercials, disrespect for the elderly, teenage rudeness as "cool" and so on.

Man, I'm glad I'm not alone here. I was starting to think I was seeing things that weren't there.....

 

That comic strip was simply lame. Bad taste? True. Worth five seconds of my life? No. A good segue to a dump session on American taste? No.
Bad taste is a global phenomenon. Reality show themes were imported from Euro-trash TV.
