Does BootZilla have a virus?

I usually run a Norton Internet Security 2008 scan every Friday night. I got a very weird result from a trojan detection within BootZilla's files. They were removed from the hard drive as well as the registry. I'm making screen shots of what was found if you want to know.

I don't need help, but I just wondered if this has happened with you testing of the program or not.

    Thanks for your time!

    Hi

With the nature of Bootzilla, and its anti-malware tools, its very likely that Norton and its current virus definition files may pick up one of them as a nasty, but these are false positives as many anti-malware apps have signatures of malware as the way of finding real malware ( similar to human drugs ) Hopefully but unlikely the next updates to Nortons AV defs would remove this false positive.

This is a normal issuse with many AVs.. picking up other security apps as malware.

Thanks Halo. You pretty much explained to me what I was thinking all along. I figured that they were false positives, but I wasn't totally sure. It doesn't hurt to ask.

    Thanks again!
