Does this sound like Malware?

    Every time a friend tries to go to Mapquest she gets redirected to www.wzpo.ask.com It then asks to download this wzpo thing. It seems like the machine might be infected but Norton came up with no red flags and every other site works. Any ideas?

    unfortunately i am not near the machine so those steps can not get done right now. I will try later but as it is not my machine no guarantees. Does this sound like a malware issue though

    Yes it does sound like malware....and running the scans will probably remove most of it.

    But I would need to see the logs to be sure.

    I just got a call from my friend and Mapquest is working just fine. I will see her next week so if it pops up again I'll check back and let you know. Thanks
