done all steps and just need info

can you plz help

i have done all the steps have reformated aswell still have a problem

the only thing that getts found is Adware.BackWeb.A (a squared)

tried every scan that there is.

here is hjt log

 

Click Start > Run > type services.msc and Click OK

Locate AOL instant messenger 7.0 (aol7.0) and RightClick on it to bring up the Service Properties Window.
First: Stop the service by clicking the Stop Button.
Next: Disable it by changing the Startup Type to Disabled and click Apply

The above is the only thing I see that's of concern. If you formatted how did you get re-infetected?

k this is what i.ve done

i have an h/p did the destructive recovery twice
ran the steps in safe mode both times
1st time it found usual spy (wild tangent,avenue A)and a couple of others
also f-secure found lots. a trojan downloader,and worms
Win32.Welchia.a
Win32.Sdbot.vxd

ran the removal tools for both got then from symantec
it said it removed them.

but they were still there so i reformated ran scans (with all updates) found and deleted them (hope they're gone)

my only problem i think now is this BackWeb it only gets found by NAV
but i cant get rid of it.

i am curently going through the steps again and will post all logs just to be sure

on a side note this is my mothers pc and she was on dail-up since 2002
still running sp1 she had nortons but the last update was in 2004
really suprised that it runs at all.

these hacking tools that panda found would they have to do with backweb
it seems to attach to whatever anti-virus i use.

as far as the panda scan i cant find these files

could this be a false positive?

i do believe this pc is clean found out that BackWeb is spyware made by h/p
to update thier product so i guess this puter needs this to work right

Everyone has there own opinions about BackWeb. Most people just leave it alone and don't every worry about it.

Your logs look ok, the Panda log detections are probably a false positive, nothing to worry about.

Are you having any problems?
