When I try to use alt+ctrl+del or msconfig (it might do it to other things but have not tried) I go to put mouse over it and it closes. Anyone know why this happens?

Windows XP pro
athlon xp 2000
1500 ddr ram

1. Viruses
2. Trojans
3 Adware

I had msblast couple weeks ago but removed it...as far as I know thats only thing I had but it's still not working when it was removed.

sygate $40
in the freeware
zone alarm
Trojan remover
Bo clean $30
in the freeware
SWAT IT
For spy ware remover
AD WARE
SPY BOT
for on line security IE spyad/spywarebluster/spywareguard

I downloaded AVG 7 first time I ran it 56 infections second time I ran it 51. Can't beleive I had so many but my problem is fixed now.

will avg find things that an updated norton will not. And will it work together if you already have norton installed.

Possibly and probably not very well, it's generally good to have only one firewall/AV running or installed at the same time...
