Hi all, I've a feeling that my problem is not malware but I'll ask the question anyway.
I'm running win xp on a 3.00gb processor with 1gbram.
I have my main hard drive split into two 80 gb drives C: and D:
In my D: drive I have a folder which is almost totally torrent downloads and it is this folder that has the problem.
When I open the folder a message pops up to say that windows explorer has encounterd a problem and has to close. If I put this pop up to one side I can open files, play vids or do anything with the folder but if I click on the " dont send" or the "send" buttons at the bottom the screen refreshes and the folder closes down. I have scanned the whole pc and also the D:drive specifically with AVG and adaware SE pro. I have also ran these in safe mode but it has made no difference.

Any advice would be gratefuly recieved.

    Thanks
    Jiroma

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

If it is only happening with that folder, it is more than likely not malware and could just be due to something related to the contents of the folder. Torrents can have very stupid and long filenames. You may want to discuss this in the Software Fourm.
