   I use AOL and I hang out in chat rooms, there is this guy thinks he is a hacker (has a few programs he runs) brags that he can knock us offline, and with some of us he can. He uses a program that has bots DOS Attack the room, flooding/pinging, and is successful in knocking some of us off including me, how can we prevent him from doing that?

   I'm not sure if you should be asking us this question. You should be asking why AOL is allowing him to get away with it. All we can suggest is running are cleanup procedures ( READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support ) to make sure your system is free of malware and also you can run the How to Protect yourself from malware! steps to help keep you secure.
