Double click not working

i ran several anti malware programs, and when I was done, everything was fast, but the double click (mouse) would no longer open .exe files, After surfing the internet, I think it is a somewhat typical occurrence after running malwarebytes, which is one of the cleanup softwares i did use. Any thoughts.....by anyone....?

It could be a file association issue.

Try this:

Download FixExec.com to your desktop.
Double click on downloaded file to run the fix.
When the program has finished, it will generate a log on the desktop called FixExec.txt.
Post the log in your next reply.
