    Hi guys,

I have a xp machine and just added ram from 1 gig up to 2 gig. It works fine, but I was nosing around and noticed the processor listed twice in device manager.
Should I be worried or delete one of the two?

is that with hyperthreading? if so, i think thats the way it should be. either way, i don't think u should be worried about anything.

If you have a dual core CPU, or a CPU with hyperthreading (as stated above) then the CPU will be listed twice. Nothing to worry about. Attached is a screen shot of my Device Manager just to illustrate that 2 listings are OK.

Now I know what the first letter in dlb stands for dlb ;)

Thanks guys, you are correct about the Hyperthreading.
