Double Sided Book Layout

I am creating a song book. Essentially, I want to print several double sided 8.5x11 pages (landscape), add a cover, staple the middle and fold.

The left side of the first page is a list of names, but the right side of the same piece of paper will be the last page of the book. Right? On top of that, the back side of the second page will be seen opposite the list of names and the "inside" of that paper will be a list of names on the next page and the outside will be the next to the last page on the right... right?

Is there a program that will facilitate this kind of layout? I'm currently using Office 2007 Publisher.

Years ago, I used PrintShop for a similar project, but no longer have PS.

I watched the MS Video and it's not what I'm after.

I'm not sure if Tomahawk PDF+ would do what you want or not. I haven't played around with it enough to find out. Oddly enough, I have the old PrintShop CD floating around here some where in the stacks.

Edit: didn't ask what OS, so don't even know if you can use it.

 

Have you checked your printer options? Some printers do this, I believe.
