Hello,

I used to be able to enter the compuserve forums without having to login or click through dialog boxes. Now that I'm on a different computer, I've been having trouble getting into the forums (but no problem being remembered anywhere else online). At the very best, I have to click through a dialog box warning each time ("You are about to be redirected to a connectiion that is not secure . . ."). At the worst, I have to login (username and password) once or twice and then click through 2 or more dialog boxes.

I wonder if this all has to do with the icon of a little red circle with a white line through it at the bottom of the compuserve page. If I point the cursor on that icon, it says "privacy report." If I double click the icon, I get a dialog box that says, "Based on your privacy settings, some cookies were restricted or blocked." Then there is a list of Restricted Websites and this is the only one listed there:

Questions:

1. Does the above link indicate that compuserve uses doubleclick to track cookies?
I have IE (Internet Properties) set to accept all cookies, but I know that somewhere else I have doubleclick.com blocked.

2. If I remove the above long link from the restricted sites list, do you think I'll be able to get in without having to click through one or more dialog boxes each time I return (start a new IE session and return to the forums)?

3. What does the TWX stand for in the link? On a list of acronyms, the only thing I found was TWX = teletypewriter Exchange Service.

I'm using IE6, Window XP Pro and Windows Live OneCare. I used to use Symantec NAV and uninstalled it (some people say that bits of NAV remain even though it has been uninstalled).
