downgrade

I have a problem. I don't like windows vista and want to reinstall xp pro. When I insert the disk and boot it tells me that the windows I have running is newer than the xp. I already knew that. My question is how to uninstall vista. Or how do I wipe out the c:drive to install xp. Any suggestions?

 

Before wiping anything and possibly killing your warranty, you have to check to make sure there are XP drivers available for all your hardware as more and more system hardware only supports Vista, if it's OEM. If you pass that test, then probably the best would be to dual boot to make sure everything works, and that can complicated in itself.

Meh, I'll keep my opinions of Vista to myself but XP is on its way out.
