Download and out dated versions.

    Goldenskull I can't follow the rules

    Me and some of the admins on the Iobit forums where talking about upgrades for there iobit products and a few of them where complaining about how the outdated and or incorrect versions of Iobit products are i think that this needs to be addressed for all items.

    I am not saying that they are but they where complaining one complaint that i saw the most is I am fed up with the wrong version downloads of IObit products from majorgeeks.

    The reason this came up is be cause i complained about the iobit uninstaller not working properly and it did not show all items listed installed.

    Then one of the admins points me to cnet and i said hell no i will not download any thing from cnet be cause it is very untrustworthy.

    Do you have a specific download you are talking about? A link for something? You mentioned the uninstaller...it is the same version as what is one the Iobit site.

    A general statement regarding our downloads being out of date helps absolutely no one.

    We get them from the site owner and let's be honest, people aren't all that bright.

    Downloaded just now. As pics show, our version is the version they list. Then again, since they email us and we post it first, it always is. There was a couple times where they changed filenames and we didn't notice right away but those were fixed within hours.


    I WILL say we had 2 older file servers we just removed from our mirrors. They were inexpensive but also out of date and slow. We felt carrying 2 older servers that were not needed was useless as well as a security and quality control issue. I am not saying that's the problem, but it is possible.

    Just trying to give a heads up if people start to complain about this issue.I know that most of the items are up to date since i download from here regularly.

    Show em this. People don't care. they decide who's fault it is besides themselves and feel good about it. Can't help em if they don't listen.
