Download problem

    I can't download anything in Netscape Navigator. I have switched off Noton Internet Security. Gone to Edit; Preferences; Navigator; Downloads; Don't open anything. and nothing is happening, no error message, nothing. Any ideas???

    Go to Edit - Preferences - Navigator - Helper Applications, select and REMOVE any filetype entries listed, one at a time, then try downloading again.

    If you still have problems:

    Clear your cache (Edit - Preferences - Advanced - Cache) then go to Tools - Download Manager and remove all entries (Ctrl - A to select all, then tap the delete button).

    If you can't open the Download Manager at all, this usually fixes the problem:
